How does The Lumen Social Intelligence Barometer work?
The Lumen is powered by Infegy Atlas, our AI-driven consumer intelligence platform. Infegy Atlas analyzes hundreds of millions of posts across the entire span of social media every day. For the dashboard, we set up recurring queries using Infegy Atlas’ API (ask us about access to our API!). We then filter the whole conversation by social media channel, and analyze three datasets by duration.
For the trends below, we ran the datasets through Entities, one of Infegy Atlas’ state-of-the-art analytic capabilities, which can detect notable people, places, brands, companies, movements, systems, and products.

This is a heatmap of post volume from Instagram and Reddit over the last 30 days. By collecting latitude and longitude coordinates from posts, we can pinpoint the exact locations where aggregate social media activity is most concentrated and identify trends in different areas.
